Abbreviations Used

Abbreviations are used to describe the products in the price lists and the shop system. These abbreviations have the following meaning:

Cad.	Bottling of Wm. Cadenhead with date of distillation and bottling, age, cask type, at least 46% alcohol by volume, most often black gift package. The whisky is bottled straight from the cask. There are changes in alcohol strength from cask to cask.
Conn.	Connoisseur's Choice - Vintage bottling by Gordon & MacPhail, 40%.
Flora & Fauna	Bottling of distilleries without an own label. Dark gift package with animal and plant motifs. Taste explanations on the label. United Distillers & Vintners bottling.
G & M	Gordon & MacPhail, bottling authorized by the distillery.
GP	Gift package
MacA.	James Mac Arthur & Co. Ltd., Description of the distillery and the whisky on the back of the bottle, without gift package.
Rare Malts Selection	Ainslie & Heilbron bottling of rare and mostly closed distilleries. Bottling in cask strength with dark bottle. United Distillers & Vintners bottling.
Sign.	Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky Co. Ltd. - Cask bottling with the dates of distillation and bottling, cask and bottle number, total number of bottles, alcoholic strength and type of cask used for maturing. Bottling with 43% most often in tube. Cask strength bottling in high-grade gift box.
