Established in 1798, this is Scotland's most northerly distillery. Situated on a hill, water has to be pumped up to it from springs below the level of the distillery! | ||||

From Kirkwall Cathedral, take the road up the hill towards the airport. After 500 metres, the distillery is signposted and the pagoda chimney visible. | ||||
