Established in 1775 and previously called Hosh, the distillery was renamed in 1875 after the nearby original distillery of that name closed. | ||||

The distillery is situated on the A85 Crieff to Comrie road, just north of Crieff itself. Crieff is just over one hour north from Edinburgh, via the M9, and Glasgow, via the M8 and M80. | ||||
