Built to meet the growing demand for Scotch Whisky worldwide, and J&B Rare in particular. Production began in 1974. The single malt from Auchroisk is called The Singleton. The water is drawn from Dories Well. The distillery's Gaelic name means "the ford of the red stream". | ||||

north of the town, turning right onto B9103 towards
Mulben and Keith. Distillery is on left of road. From Keith: head west on A95. At Mulben go straight on via B9103 to the distillery. |
