Scotch Whisky Association is pleased to announce the appointment this week of a new Media
& Government Affairs Manager. Karen Prentice is now the main point of contact for all
media enquiries and has responsibility for relations with the Scottish Parliament. Karen’s appointment is a further step
in the Association’s drive to raise awareness of the Industry’s importance to
the economy of Scotland. Last year the Association widened the role of its Public Affairs
Department to focus on a broad range of Government and Consumer Affairs issues.
